Registration and Course Fee

The group course fee is $220 per couple (incl. GST).

A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking – the final payment is due 7 days prior to the workshop.

As Pip and Kate are registered midwives Private Health Fund rebates are available for some funds.

The classes are for mum and her birth companion. Since relaxation and focus are required, children are not permitted to attend.

Refund Policy

The final payment is due 7 days prior to the course start date. In cases where the enrollee withdraws, they are entitled to a refund (less the non-refundable deposit) up to the course start date or they may change to a later course date. All changes must be made in writing.

In the unlikely event that classes are canceled by Birth Savvy, a full refund is applicable.

* Pip Wynn Owen or Kate Buchanan run the workshops personally; however in the case of either being unable to take the class due to extenuating circumstances, a qualified and experienced Childbirth Educator will take the class in their absence.

Venue Information

Classes are held from 9:30 am – 4 pm at Wellness on Whatley, 162 Whatley Cres Maylands

Please note that Google maps will try to take you to 162 Whatley Cres BAYSWATER if you don’t enter MAYLANDS.

There is free parking on 7^th & 8^th Ave, or $2 at Maylands Railway Station which is directly opposite the venue.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be supplied throughout the day. We will break for approximately 1 hour for lunch. You are welcome to bring your own lunch or eat out at one of the numerous local cafes and restaurants.

Wear comfy clothes and bring along anything else that will aid your comfort. Chairs, birth balls, cushions are provided.
